It is now official! Vijay is out of the 3 Idiots remake says the film’s producer Gemini Film Circuit. Though the reason has not been specified either by the producer or Vijay, it is said that they have parted ways amicably.
Director Shankar was to have begun this remake early this month but had to stall it owing to the confusion that prevailed over the lead stars.
It is now said that Suriya has been approached with the offer to star in the film but the actor has agreed to be a part of it only if he is offered the lead roles in both the Tamil as well as the Telugu version.
